Gauge Magic - The Refill - MicroFit 3.0 - Caerbont Style
Working with Andrew Revill, the prolific Seven modification creator, we’re in the process of bringing back to market the fantastic Gauge Magic.
Ever been caught out by the optimistic fuel gauge in your Seven?
Wanted to know if can actually make it home?
Or if you have enough fuel to finish the race when you start the car?
Well here’s the solution!
We’re planning a few varieties.
Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 Sandwich
VDO Style Spade Terminal Sandwich
Wago Style DIY version
Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 socket to Solder Pads
Fully Solder Pad DIY
These will connect to your car’s wiring harness between the standard gauge connector, and the gauge itself. It will read the value being sent from the tank sender, compare it to a lookup table and send a remapped value to the gauge.
Programming is simple via Andrew Revills Windows Application connected over a USB-C cable.
Add a reading for an empty tank, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full. And the same for the output values to the gauge and you’re off to the races.
More values input, the more accurate gauge you’ll have.
These are compatible with the original VDO style 3 pin gauges, as well as the newer 270degree Cearbont gauges.
There’s a header for LED and a buzzer included for configurable warnings.
Purchase information coming soon(tm)…
